Thank you for purchasing an African soft animal from Jackie! She earns the profit from each sale. On average, selling just 2-3 animals covers a month's rent for her.

Jackie graduated from our 2024 JOYFUL sewing program. In this program, 15 students studied sewing and were gifted a sewing machine upon graduating, thanks to a generous donor.

Jackie is a single mother who actively sews to support herself and her two children. Her health is a constant struggle for her. She is one of our most talented artisans producing the Joyful giraffes and elephants and she works very hard to improve her skills and her life.
